Business Development Director

AgCall is a progressive company with an established reputation in the agriculture industry spanning over 30 years and we are looking for an enthusiastic, organized professional to join our team. We influence our clients’ customers and drive sales using human capital, marketing and sales solutions, organizational support, and digital /IT services. But we’re not an ad agency, a tech company or a people placement firm — we’re a custom solutions and project management provider to the biggest names in the North American agriculture industry.

With the emphasis on business development, you will have a complete toolbox of customer influencing solutions including: face to face, over the phone, and online/technology solutions to bring value to the marketplace. The right person will control their own destiny: decide where they want to live and work from (preference to Calgary), help build a team, establish a work/life balance, and participate in the key employee profit share program.

With a strong agriculture background and a minimum 7-10 years of experience in sales/account management (preferably with experience in the service industry), you will:

  • Identify and develop business with new clients and new sectors of the industry
  • Retain and grow business with existing clients
  • Utilize existing relationships and coaches to understand clients’ needs, then work with client and internal AgCall teams to develop concepts and solutions
  • Monitor budgets and work with Project Managers to meet quality and profitability goals/margins
  • Assist Project Managers/Coordinators to develop a network of contacts for recruiting
  • Take active part in agriculture associations to promote AgCall

Operations / Marketing Manager

We influence our clients’ customers and drive sales using human capital, marketing and sales solutions, organizational support, and digital /IT services. But we’re not an ad agency, a tech company or a people placement firm — we’re a custom solutions and project management provider to the biggest names in the North American agriculture industry.

As the Operations/Marketing Manager you will be responsible for all activity as it relates to the efficient and effective execution of every project. You must enjoy and even demand knowing what is going on at all levels and you want the responsibility of choosing and directing who will get the project done…with the highest level of quality, on time, and on budget. You have proven experience managing people and as a part of AgCall’s management team you will be involved in all key decisions as they relate to the success of the company throughout North America.

With a strong agriculture background and a minimum 7-10 years of experience in project management/office management you will also:

  • recruit, manage and coach all project managers and coordinators
  • develop, evaluate and enhance implementation processes
  • establish quality control processes and appropriate internal metrics
  • lead strategy and tactics to enhance the AgCall/Associate relationship, including: recruiting, compensation, training, auditing and evaluation
  • develop strategy and oversee execution of AgCall’s marketing initiatives.

Solutions Developer

AgCall is a progressive company with an established reputation in the agriculture industry spanning over 30 years and we are looking for an enthusiastic, creative professional to join our IT team working out of our headquarters located in the south of Calgary. We’re not an ad agency and we’re not a tech company—we’re a custom solutions provider to the biggest names in the agriculture industry.

The role of Solutions Developer will involve working with senior staff on developing new projects and maintaining existing solutions such as: database-driven ASP.NET web applications, apps for Android and iOS platforms, and multi-channel customer influencing marketing programs. This is a position with opportunities for training and advancement and new college and university graduates are welcome to apply.

Applicants must be eligible to work in Canada, able to commute to AgCall’s Calgary office, proficient in both written and spoken English, and possess a relevant degree or diploma in software development/design or computer science.

Technologies and competencies required: IIS, ASP.NET, C#, Microsoft Visual Studio, Xamarin, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL Server, T-SQL, Stored procedures.

Preference will be given to applicants who also have experience and skills in these areas: Photoshop, Web UX design, iOS & Android app development, Graphic design, Animation, Video production.
