TeleSpecialist

AgCall offers opportunities for motivated individuals with exceptional communication skills. This is a work from home, part-time contract position, connecting via phone with individuals from the agriculture industry on a variety of projects on behalf of AgCall’s clients. The successful candidate may include active or retired growers and farm wives, agriculture students, retired retailers, independent agronomists or other ag professionals. TeleSpecialist projects are the most common between harvest and seeding with limited projects during the growing season. Working as an AgCall TeleSpecialist is an excellent way to stay active in the agriculture industry and contribute to your household income while maintaining a work life balance.

Requirements
  • Agriculture background is an asset
  • Excellent communication skills, including an outgoing nature, positive attitude and empathy for the challenges growers face
  • Ability to prioritize the job in the daily workflow and consistency in availability
  • Available to make calls for a minimum of 3 hours per day, during peak times: 8 to 10 am, 12 to 2 pm, and 4 to 8 pm
  • Fundamental computer skills with strong data entry skills
  • Must have the following:
    • an entry-level computer, preferably less than 7 years old
    • high-speed internet
    • mobile phone or landline that provides a clear connection and no dropped calls

Responsibilities
  • Attend a virtual training session at the beginning of each project
  • Connect with contacts in the agriculture industry to inform, survey or consult
  • Available to make calls as soon as calling list is available
  • Prioritize time and schedule to meet project’s objectives
  • Communicate with AgCall calling progress
  • Complete clean data entry in AgCall’s data management platform
Training

Associates will learn from company technical specialists and the AgCall team to get a comprehensive overview of the program. AgCall provides an exceptional online platform that tracks call status and progress.

Associates will report directly to AgCall Project Managers who are well versed in the project and will train in best practices to give all Associates the opportunity for success. Technical tools will be provided to assist in your position.

Compensation

Associates earn a competitive wage with bonus structure.
