Regulatory Field Specialist
We are seeking detail-oriented and professional Regulatory Field Specialists (RFS) to join our team for an agricultural field program. In this role, you will conduct on-farm assessments across Western Canada, ensuring adherence to crop input use guidelines. You will play a key role in collecting accurate data, and fostering positive relationships with growers.
Geography
We are hiring for positions in:
- Manitoba
- Saskatchewan
- Alberta
Timeline
June 2025 to August 2025, with possible 4-week extension.
Responsibilities
- Technical
- Schedule and coordinate farm visits based on field priorities
- Collect and input data using provided technology tools (apps, iPad, smartphone)
- Inspect fields to verify crop types and collect samples according to established protocols
- Assess data and determine compliance within the crop input use guidelines
- Educate growers on program terms, conditions, and best practices
- Prepare clear and detailed reports
- Relationship Management
- Develop a strong and cooperative working relationship with the project manager
- Engage with growers professionally to schedule visits and obtain required information
- Maintain respectful, professional communication during all interactions
- Uphold confidentiality and data integrity throughout the program
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates who have:
- Experience in agronomy, crop production, or a related field (relevant degree, designation, or industry experience is an asset but not required
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with growers
- The ability to work independently and manage schedules effectively
- A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within Western Canada.
Compensation
This job requires an elevated skill set which will be compensated fairly for that skill level or expertise.
