Contract Sales
AgCall Inc. has an exciting opportunity for crop protection sales professionals to work within an existing and established market maintaining and creating demand for client’s product, by working closely with Ag Retailers, Distributors, and network professionals as they introduce the product to Growers of corn and soybeans.

- Approximately 40 hours per week
Requirements
- Must be available for day travel to meet with prospective retailer customers, set appointments, and meet with retailers and distributors across the project timeframe.
- Previous experience selling crop protection products to retailers is a must.
- Comfortable with prospecting and cold calling, not discouraged by rejection.
- Able to work independently within the territory, adherence to the sales goals, with minimal client supervision.
- A desire to help customers develop strategies to improve their operations and practices.
- Detail-oriented with excellent record-keeping and communication skills.
- Provide own vehicle, computer, cell phone with voicemail, and fax or scanner.
- May be active/semi-retired or retired retailers, manufacturer/distributor sales reps, agronomists, or other ag professionals; must be comfortable meeting with retailers and going through the sales process.
- Have past and present relationships in agricultural sales, for geography covered, is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Working closely with the former regional sales manager to ensure a smooth transition.
- Close contact, communication, and take direction from their assigned company representative.
- Enter all relevant customer and sales data into electronic tracking format in a timely manner, as directed.
- Detail retailers on this unique new product, including the agronomics, appropriate programs, etc.
- Build retailer relationships and network on behalf of the client.
- Continue to build and develop relationships with Ag Retailers and Growers. Assess their past experience with clients products and help find ways to improve customer experience with the clients products
Training
Associates will report functionally and administratively to AgCall. Associates will receive comprehensive training on the product, the sales and marketing strategy that has been set forth for the brand, and the data collection and submission procedures that are required for payment. Training will be held via webinar. We provide a competitive wage with bonus structure for all projects. Associates earn an hourly base rate, bonuses, mileage, and expense reimbursement.
